Bob Phillips - Works for Frank; having an affair with Fiona

A TALENT FOR MURDER
 
Anne Royce Clayton - Woman in her seventies (her age varying upon her mood), America's foremost and most venerable mystery writer. Either to be played by an age-appropriate actress or a younger actress in age make-up (since her vitality and energy are a major focus of the script).
Dr. Anthony Wainwright - An urbane, sardonic Englishmen in his late sixties.
Rashi - Anne's butler, an East Indian convict in his mid-thirties.
Lawrence McClain - Anne's oldest child, in his late thirties, editor of an esoteric poetry magazine.
Sheila McClain - Lawrence's beautiful wife, in her thirties, operator of a successful art gallery. Her beauty is exceeded only by her ruthless ambition.

Pamela Harrison - Anne's granddaughter, aged twenty-five, sweet and innocent, the victim of a plane-crash which left her, by injury, with the mental capacity of a fifteen-year old.

Mark Harrison - Pamela's husband, thirty. An attractive, aggressive foreign car dealer.

Ghost - Lots of attitude; preferable an African American woman
Ebeneezer Scrooge - Dickens' cranky crumudgeon with "seasonal tourettes"
Bob Cratchit - Dickens' meek bookkeeper
Mrs. Bob Cratchit - NOTHING like Dickens' mild mannered housewife
Tiny Time - played by young, boyish adult (or can be played by one of Fezziwig's daughters)

Little Nell - Female; also plays Mrs. Fezziwig and the Beadle's Wife
Gentleman 1 - Male; plays Mr. Fezziwig, The Beadle and Act 1 Bartender
Gentleman 2 - Male; plays Edvar, George Bailey, Voice of Tess, and Serena

William Barfee - the fat kid who become a bully to avoid being picked on; tenor
Marcy Park - the ultimate over-achiever; mezzo
Olive Ostrovsky - quiet, pleasant and shy; mezzo
The Adults:
Rona Lisa Perretti - also plays Olive's Mom; long-time spelling bee hostess; soprano
Vice Principal Douglas Panch - stuck in his job, hopelessly awaiting a promotion that will never come; baritone
Mitch Mahoney - also plays Dan Dad and Olive's Dad, serving as "comfort counselor" as part of his community service sentence; tenor
